"February: Black History- Martin Luther King Jr., George Washington Carver, Harriet Tubman, and Maya Angelou Presidents- Abraham Lincoln Music: reading note names 2nd- Math: Borrowing from the thousands, roman numerals 1-1,000, multiplication with factors of 0-2, cm and inches, grids, measurment conversions ect. Lang.: roots, prefixes, 3-4 syllable words, When c comes before e,i and y, it says "s" When g comes before e,i and y, it says "j" Science/Health: Taking care of our teeth Reading: Silver Sails which teaches honesty, integrity, courage, faith, kindness, forgiveness, industry, unselfishness, patriotism, and respect for authority. 3rd- Math:2 step story problems, 9 as a factor, fraction problems, measurement conversions ect. Lang.: writing book reports, alphabtizing, word usage; blew, blown ect., using helping words, synonnyms, antonyms, and homonyms. Science: How we are wonderfully made in God's image and how our bodies work. ex. Eyes; pupils, iris, and optic nerves Health: food groups Reading: Stories that teach a practical and workable sense of values in our lives. Reading for speed and accuracy, along with comprehension."
